Evaluation Records
A Hands-On Tested label means something only if you can check the test behind it. Each record below documents one test in enough detail for a reader to repeat it. Our methodology explains the labels.
What every record contains
- Test identity
- The product and the exact model or app version tested.
- Test date
- When the tests were run, since AI products change quickly.
- Environment
- Plan, platform, settings, and tools enabled.
- Tasks
- The prompts or reproducible task descriptions, with the number of runs for each.
- Scoring
- The rubric and weights, scored by dimension and overall.
- Results
- The outcome of each task, stated plainly, including failures.
- Limitations
- Known confounders, sample size, and uncertainty.
- Evaluators and sources
- Who ran the tests and the documentation relied on.
Published records
No hands-on evaluation records have been published yet. Until they are, products on TheBestSI are labelled Editorial Analysis or Documented Research, and we show no numerical scores.
